It's a slick new book cover browser that also provides RSS feeds of new books. It was created by Mike Cunningham of Cambridge Libraries in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada who kindly allowed me to adapt it slightly and post it here.

You can download the entire source code here. It includes everything you need as well as a sample MySQL new books database and a demo page similiar to what you see below. You're free to use it as you like, just please don't remove the attributiom to Mike and be sure to mention him (and maybe this site) if people ask.

If you're a WYLD library, I've got a nice little hack to automatically update the new books via a WorkFlows scheduled report.
